I agree with you. Medals should only go to those that earned them, but the bottom line is, none of us knows what really happened out there, so it's premature to declare she did nothing to warrant the medal(s). And it's stupid for some to blame her for being in the situation she now finds herself in. They were all in the wrong place at the wrong time because their convoy got lost.

I don't blame her. But I have not read a single credible post from an eyewitness to the account of her "heroism" nor have I read the written commendation that specifically describes what was done to earn that Bronze star. IMO the award is a bone thrown to the feminazis.
