Don't worry, my friend. You don't need to convince me about the sanctity of man-woman marriage.

I just hope that steam picks up for the FMA, or that something else will prohibit from happening here what is happening in Canada. The fact that most Canadians endorse the notion of homosexual marriage is central to what's causing it to happen. The fact that Americans oppose homosexual marriage by a nearly 2-1 margin will definitely slow down the foul process in the United States. Let's hope that it stops the process completely.

I've never heard of this. At the death of a spouse (or anyone else in the family), the value of the home is not reassessed for property tax purposes. It might be assessed for purposes of 'inheritance taxing' but that's a different issue and would always be assessed at current value.

Not sure what your question is, but, I was pointing out that in the eyes of God, "Man" is made up of two components: a "male" and a "female." "Man" is complete when there are one of each. "Man" was never intended to be "male" and "male," or "female" and "female." Only as the "two become one flesh" is the design of God made complete.

That is really a naive assessment. Their agenda is to overturn what "is" for what they think "ought" should be. They are not looking for a few "bennies," they are looking for universal acceptance for their lifestyle...down to the youngest children. Their agenda is not benign, it aims at nothing less than the overturning of the "traditional" style of life in the US. Don't kid yourself.

Correct - my point was that if one partner of a same-sex couple dies, the house IS reassessed, unlike with a married couple.

There's also a number of insurance coverage issues that arise.

Personally, I think the sodomites should still be living in a world where homosexuality is categorized as a mental illness and where the act of sodomy was a criminal offense.

Then they could be thrown into mental insitutions like they used to be; straightjackets, padded cells, and heavy doses of anti-psychotics administered under the supervision of trained medical personnel.

To keep from being jailed or hospitalized, they would stay in the closet and out of sight.

That's the way it should be. Then we wouldn't be listening to this shrill cacophony of filth from this tiny, degenerate, minority whose positions in the entertainment and media worlds gives them a soap box that lets them project their agenda into society with a far greater signal-to-noise ratio than their insignificant percentage of the population is actually due.

That's the sickest thing I've ever heard in my life. If you want sodomy outlawed, fine and good (although it might be another debate). However, the very idea of using medicine as a deterrent is absolutely abhorent. Sick, sick, sick, sick.

Prisons and jails serve to deter. Hospitals are for the care of the infirm, mentally or physically. Key word there being care.

Until the 1970's, Homosexuality was categorized as a mental illness by the Psychiatric community. It was the lobbying by the sodomites that got them to remove it. Just like the sodomites and pedophiles are now trying to get them to remove pedophelia from the categorized "mental illnesses" - the first step in their attempt to bring legitimacy to that, too.

I think the sodomites do belong in psychiatric wards instead of prisons. They're not criminals, they're deviants. There's a difference. They're mentally ill, in my opinion.
