They're probably not too interested in discussion after Serb troops used them as HUMAN SHIELDS. I can understand how the Canadian troops have an axe to grind, though, after being requested to hand their weapons over to Croat troops for the duration of the Krajina offensive-AND COMPLYING!
HV, not Serbs, used UN Danish soldiers as human shields, chained to their tanks. At Moscenica, HV also aimed an RPG right at the chest of a young Danish peacekeeper in his Blue Helment who said "Don't shoot, I'm UN" and then blasted him and killed him. And no, the Canadians did not hand over their weapons to HV.
joan, there were no Dutch soldiers (except for UNMOs) in Sectors North and South (Op Storm). We had Canadians, Czechs, Jordanians, Ukranians and Danish battalions.
