Fred is RIGHT ON. I'm a Canadian, foreign descent, dated and experienced women from India, Mideast, Britain, Europe and America. Young American women are absolutely in a state of deep hatred of young American (white) males. It is more than a "Chip", it is mass psychosis. Let me give you one small example. Watch Temptation Island; watch the attitude and negativity of the women. Now watch Temptation Island UK - the Brit version. Note how relaxed, cheerful and trusting the females are of the males and vice versa. It's quite an eye -opener!

Fred doesn't say he wants a docile, self-effacing wife. Just a human being who doens't instinctively mistrust and dislike men. And yknow what? Outside America they DO exist in huge numbers.

This is the most courageous and accurate article I've read in a long while, and I love to read. The author's words are chilingly true - most American women are unfriendly, selfish, rude man-haters. Most American marriages end in divorce, and most divorces are filed by women. And they do get the house, the kids, and the man's money. Then they move on to another man. Women don't believe the "man-hating" label because they enjoy sex with men, thinking this means they must like them. Young American women are shallow, restless and angry. And young American men are equally shallow and clueless, thinking that the cheaper and easier their "significant others" are, the more fortunate they are. Bravo, for an insightful, accurate and refreshing article. You'll be scalded by all the angry, embittered women out there, as I will be for agreeing with you. I have watched too many of my friends marriages go down the tubes and while it takes both parties to make the mess. The woman is most likely to be the one who "leaves", no matter what amends are made. I put leaves in quotes because she will actually stay but the guy will be removed although she ran out on the marriage.

I refuse to get married. I am now completely convinced there is not a woman out there that is worth my time or effort, at least not in the states.

This is good advice, if your are single and male stay single. it will be less headaches down the road.

Fred is as bitter and paranoid as Susan. He has a point, though: a lot of women really are ugly-natured, manipulative, hostile, and as they used to say of Lord Byron, "mad, bad, and dangerous to know." Any man foolish enough to marry such feminist harridans--well, I won't say a man deserves such a fate, but he should have seen it coming. If a woman is nasty and grasping before marriage, how much worse will she be afterwards?

Solution? Marry a sweet-tempered Christian woman, a person of emotional stability, strength, courage in the face of adversity, calm, reverence, and joy. Where do you find such a woman? Well, not in a bar, Joe. There are millions of such women out there and most likely you'll find them in church. What? You say you don't go to church? Maybe that's half the problem. Maybe that's why guys like Fred end up in divorce court, sometimes more than once.

Scuse me, Mr. Cicero. I have very little in the way of temper, and most people find me pretty docile. No one finds me boring, though. It's possible for a lady to be gentle, docile, supportive, and cooperative and still know how to break a stallion, write a novel, drive a front-end loader, handle a chainsaw, shoot a rifle, or converse skilfully at a diplomatic reception.

I'm 29 and pretty financially successfull, townhouse paid for, etc. I would never, ever, even consider marrying an American woman. Period. Know too many friends that ended up w/nothing but an apartment and some old furniture and the wife gets the kids and the rest. Screw that.
