It's clearly meant to show the destructiveness of politics (read dems) on the Iraq situation.

How does refusing to join all the knee-jerkers and attempting to insert facts into the discussion constitute trolling? It doesn't. There are many trolls that come to this board, sometimes repeatedly, under new names. A potential troll should be publicly identified and watched. And Zotted when appropriate.
Many times they are, sometimes they are not. We'll see if you're still here a year from now.

If it comes to treating newbies the way this guy did when he was right, them I volunteer for the spike. In fact, I'll use one of my own. Without truth or honor, what's the point?

Is that them at my door. Thanx I missed that. I guess they will arrest the guy for saying that politics is killing the president. Are these Clinton leftovers or the ones that let Clinton run around with his pants down?

In answer to your previous question, yes you and the secret service are wrong. Anyone who read Ramirez for two days would know that or just looking at the cartoon can see that it's not anti-Bush. The responses here have defined knee-jerk conservatism.
Toodles!

When I read your post, I went back and looked at the cartoon more carefully, and I think you're probably right. President Bush is shown as being the victim of an unprincipled thug, "Politics", with a gun to his head, while his hands are bound behind him (his lack of freedom to pursue justice since he is hobbled and chained by the politics of the Dems).
Thanks for another viewpoint. But you're probably going to hear about it from other freepers.

How does refusing to join all the knee-jerkers and attempting to insert facts into the discussion constitute trolling? It doesn't, and obviously you're right.
It does lack tact though. There's alot of nuts out there, and you never know what meaning one of them could attach to an image like that.

If the cartoonist had ANY balls at all, he would have replaced Politics with Demorats.

To: UncleDick
This is a delicate subject. I see what he's trying to say, but it is just not the type of image you want of your President and I think the cartoonist didn't really mean harm, but that's too much. The worst I've seen is with Craig Kilborn's Late Late Show showing an image of the President or candidate Bush speaking and 'snipers wanted' written across the screen. If anyone should have gotten in trouble and been jailed it was those vile people.
To: jern
This shows "Politics" a ruthless democrat, attempting to butcher an innocent man over Iraq.

I have to agree with you (for the first time) on this one. Ramirez is taking a swipe at demonrats...again.
