As far as I know, I don't have any "descendants" in Zimbabwe or anywhere else in Africa. Britain, the ancestral home of so many of the Rhodesian whites, seems to have abandoned them to their fate. After fawning over Mugabe, the British Left only turned against him when (1) his crimes became too obvious to ignore, and (2) he began denouncing homosexuality.

I appreciate the news and commentary that appears in Free Republic from those who are on the front-lines of this disaster.

I dont have any decendents in Rhodesia either but I do have inlaws.My wife left there in 80 to start a new life here in the states with me.Most of her family left but not all.
