he went to meet with someone That's my guess too. The report said that he left the house at 2345 BST. I take that to be 11:45 PM? Most people just don't decide to take their daily walk at that hour.

I think that people need to be cautious in using the Vince Foster analogy. Those who had a vested interest in seeing this guy offed are NOT the Blair government, but rather the French, the Iraqi Saddamists, the Clintonistas, the leftists in Parliament who do NOT like Blair, and the BBC marxists.
If the "Vince Foster" analogy is used, everyone will point fingers at Blair...and by extension, Bush.

Well, I cannot think of any aspect of this case that has to do with Israel, but I suppose the Mossad could be a suspect.
I was first looking at those with obvious interrest in getting rid of Blair. France because Blair's opposition to France's anti-American efforts in the EU, Saddam people for obvious reasons, the Clintonistas because of Blair's working with Bush and in order to cover anything the sinkmaster was up to, the leftists of the BBC to hide the government's finding out that they make up news for subversive reasons, and the leftists in Blair's own government who want him gone.
If you can suggest a reasonable theory for the Mossad being involved I will be happy to consider them.

Well, I am hoping it was natural causes, such as a heart attack from massive but undetected coronary disease.
Bushs dad used to run the evil CIA. They know how to off a guy and make it look like natural causes.
I knew the Bushs were evil, and this just confirms it.
If didnt have a completely biased, war mongering, conservative media, the entire Bush family would be rotting in prison for this.

According to Skynews, Kelly left his house at 3 PM. What happened at 11:45 is that Kelly's family called the police after he had not returned.

Oh please. Fox breaks WIND and it's a news alert. At least FOXNews isn't the distilled essence of WIND, otherwise known as CBSNBCABCCNN, the alphabet nitworks. ;-)

It has already started, already on talk radio in Chicago, liberal callers are calling this a "Bush/Blair Hit Job". By the end of this weekend the international media, and even some in the US media will be calling this a conspiracy between Bush and the CIA to knock off anybody that can give them trouble. The response to such liars and haters is simple. David Kelly already "spilled the beans" (translation: made up the story), if he did so at all; the pre-dead Kelly story said the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee had already decided that "it is 'most unlikely' that Dr Kelly was the 'mole'." So either way, the "Bush/Blair Junta" had NO REASON TO KILL HIM, and EVERY REASON NOT TO. It is beyond obvious that insiders at No 10 Downing Street would be the prime suspects if Kelly died under suspicious circumstances, and the damage was already done, so WHAT IS IN IT FOR NUMBER 10 OR THE WHITE HOUSE?
Don't let the RATS and Loony Left Labourites get away with this. Nail them with the facts every time the bring it up and show them up in front of the whole world as the delusional, conspiracy theorists that they are.
You might think I killed Dr David Kelly. I couldn't POSSIBLY comment.

Timesink, why in the heck didn't I make your Mainstream Media Shenanigans ping list?

If the "Vince Foster" analogy is used, everyone will point fingers at Blair...and by extension, Bush. Keep in mind that they're not - at least, the legitimate journalists are not, thus far - using the analogy to nail Bush, but to pooh-pooh the conspiracy theory before it gets started ... AND, as a bonus, make fun of all those "crazy right-wingers" at the same time.
The Hate Left/Loony Left is going to point fingers at Blair and Bush anyway; in fact, we have anecdotal evidence in this thread that they already are. (Who dares visit DUh to see what wild claims they're shrieking? "Karl Rove's in London!") They don't need a VInce Foster analogy for that; and in fact by using it, they would be tacitly admitting there's something to the Foster allegations.

I don't think that the Dems would be eager to refresh people's memory about the Vince Foster case!
I think what we (rational folks) have to do is simply keep stressing the essential question: cui bono? Who benefits by the death of Kelly?
Well, certainly not Blair, since Kelly essentially undercut the story being spouted by Gilligan. Gilligan and the people he was working for (Iraq? France? leftists?), on the other hand, do benefit by Kelly's "unavailability for further comment."

Interesting.... I've read two different stories, an AP story and "This is London" story and it appears that Kelly was very stressed and very distraught. Suicide looks like it could be the cause. If this panns out it appears that the press could be set to take the blame.
From This Is London:
http://www.thisislondon.com/news/articles/5812021?source=PA Tom Mangold, a television journalist and close friend, said he had spoken to Dr Kelly's wife Janice this morning.
She had said her husband was deeply unhappy and furious at how events had unfurled.
"Mr Mangold expressed anger at the way Dr Kelly had been treated in recent weeks.
He said: "If Dave Kelly is dead, he is dead because of something that happened in journalism which means that we all have to look to our consciences," he said.
"He was not passionately interested in journalism or journalists, he was passionately interested in what happens in Iraq"
From AP:
http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGA8QE6AAID.html Conservative committee member Richard Ottaway also said Kelly had suggested he was under great strain.
"At the meeting last week he did hint at the sort of pressure he was under," Ottaway said. "He was asked to provide some evidence and he replied that he would do so but he could not get into his house because of the media pressure."

Did Kelly go on a walk during the Intermission between the Joint Congressional presentation and the Press Conference.
Had I been Kelly I would have been soooo Paranoid to have thought that Bush and Blair were talking to Me directly through the TV set. In fact I would have thought that a microchip might have been implanted in my teeth sometime when I was sleeping.

It would make more sense to put pressure on the man to deny any of the claims made by the reporter.

Raise your hand if you have read about, from more than one article,
Kellys job called for him to talk to the media
Kelly worked at Porton Down
Kelly was a big part of the Iraq bio inspection team
The google hits for Kelly and microbiologist
So much to search, so little time
You can put your hands down now.
