The reason they're on it now is because Durbin or one of the other dems on the intelligence committee leaked the name "Robert Joseph" to NBC.
IMHO, the original NYT article about Foley/Joseph was to pull Scooter Libby into the SOTU.
I have a hunch that "Robert Joseph" is going to be the chief boogeyman.

Feel better. I keep a window open on your blog all day. I appreciate your ability to cut to the chase.

This reporter seems to think if he clicks his ruby slippers repeatedly, he can make the past be whatever he wants it to be.That appears to be the mode most of the media are in. No sense of history or fact.
The goal is to diminish if not out right take down George W. Bush. Period.
And national security or welfare, let alone honor or decency, be damned.

Now why would the media ...(NBC) treat this meeting of Foley-Joseph as a breaking news story unless they have nothing else and want to keep this story alive. I just posted before reading further into the thread. The press is disregarding all sense of perspective and history---even if that history is one week old!
There can be no other reason than to bring down George W. Bush. What else could it be? They aren't even pretending they have respect for the truth or facts.
