me..I too prefer hand quilting. I could spend hours drooling over material. We have Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby and Hancocks for fabric stores in Memphis. Not as much choice as I'd like. REAL quilt shops are non-existant here. But then again I couldn't afford their material prices!

Well, I bet it was just beautiful. Am sure there was a back-up plan had it rained or something, but know you were all happy you didn't have to use it.

LOL, if you already have the tissues out 'cause of this thread -- and don't we all -- I recommend *against* taking a yander for a week or so! :) Hee hee, anyway, thanks for sharing, 'specially the photo of that lovely, beautiful child you have. We all live to make children happy, I think.
To: SpookBrat

Well, my dear Sistah Bear, thank you so much, and you are always so thoughtful to take the time to make your own special graphics for our honorees on these Fine threads. The red rose, the piano, the sparkling champagne - they're all there!

Thanks, Molly - I love a surprise - when it's for someone ELSE!!! Was pretty sure that LadyShallott would be pleased, but a 'little' nervous about embarrassing her husband - then thought, NAH! what can he do? If he's like Chris says he is, he wouldn't dream of being anything but charming about the thread! :)

To: Auntbee
I'm glad, Auntbee - I've thought about you a lot since you told me your husband passed away this spring. Would love to see you here more. We'll try to make you smile often. :)
