some of us just like ugly jokes Y'all have a good old time then.
I think what she did was ugly and unAmerican, and I think there is plenty to address there without insulting her appearance, which IMO makes us look petty, small, and tacky.
Of course, all of us sitting here at our computers are within 5 pounds of our ideal weight, physically fit, impeccably groomed, coiffed and dressed, and inordinately attractive, right?

The school teacher isn't sitting at her computer either. She's having a delightful time mugging for the media, ever so proud of her anti-Bush deck of cards.

Teacher: Bauman
Pre-requisites/Comments: Social Science Senior Elective.
COURSE CONTENT: This course will examine how women's and men's sex and gender roles have been defined by society and, more specifically, we will explore how and why women are treated differently than men and what the benefits and/or consequences of that differential treatment may be. Gender roles will be studied through the following units: Types of Feminism, History of Feminism, Feminist Jurisprudence, Politics, Education, Work, Reproductive Rights, Images of Women and Men in the Media, Sexuality, Violence Against Women, and Moving Ahead/Affecting the Future.
This is suppose to be a Catholic school? They say the class is about reproductive rights? That is obvious code language for promoting abortion.

PROTESTERS: Bellarmine teachers Kathy Eder and Chris Wolf, both of Los Gatos, joined six Bellarmine students to protest the School of Americas and call for its closing. The protest was staged in Fort Benning, Ga., where the school is located, over a November weekend.
The school, designed for warfare training, was established in Panama during the '40s. It was moved to Fort Benning when the United States no longer controlled the Panama Canal. Now, with the threat of communism dissolved, protesters want the school ended.
Those responsible for the murder of the Jesuit missionaries in El Salvador some years ago were trained at SoA. The annual protest has been staged for the past 10 years and calls for a weekend of prayer, protest and solidarity for those in Mexico, Central and South America.
The local group visited the Martin Luther King Center for Peace and Non-Violence before rallying in Fort Benning. Each year the number of protesters grows: Some 10,000 people joined the protest last year.

Yep -- agree completely. She's entitled to free speech and her own opinion, but we ought to be asking how her politics affects how she interacts with her students. It's a private school no doubt. Is being anti-American a new Jesuit policy?

Newsmax needs to make another deck just for the Socialists in education... Visualops, they are not 'Socialists'. Neither are they 'liberals' or 'progressives' or any other such newspeak bullsh*t.
They could be better described as hardcore, unrepentant neo-Stalinists.
They are running dog, lick-spittle collectivist handmaidens to their eilitist masters.
They are hobnailed and monicled National Socialists planting the heel of their jackboots firmly on the neck of decent, God fearing Americans.
Geeze, I could use some help down here in the language war...
