Sounds just like Jack. Must be something about being rescued that causes these critters to form that bond. Broke his heart to be left in a kennel while we were gone on vacation. He's forgiven us, but those sad eyes when we dropped him off caused a few moments of, "Aw, maybe we should take him with us."

Hi, Dave - I think you may be right. From reading the posts here each week on Pet Day, it's amazing how many of us have adopted throw-away pets, and how much love they need, but also have to give.

Good afternoon Dave. Poor Giz goes nuts when I pull out the suitcase. One time when we were going on an extended vacation, he suddenly became lame. I took him to the vet who could find nothing wrong. Turned out he was "faking it"! (we caught him walking naturally when he didn't think we were looking!)
