Are you kidding? I am writing emails to Senators who I don't expect to read them. :( Besides, my elderly mom roams around at night so we take shifts around here to make sure she doesn't hurt herself. Amazingly, she is in bed right now.

Thanks, Patty. He has had so many meds over the years that he has developed allergic reactions to almost all antibiotics and even aspirin and heparin, etc. The hospital in West LA specializes in infectious disease and they have done a lot of work over the years on him. I sure so appreciate your suggestion and input on this though. Thanks so much, again. Hope you are doing well! :)

I contacted AmVets. Thanks for the suggestion. I sent them a copy of the email that went to the Senators and Capps. Hopefully something will get jarred loose.

Everyone ought to bump this one! I am so PO'd! I sent an email to Feinstein and got a stupid response with no message, just a header saying I am out of state! I sent an email back that I am a California resident who is currently out of state caring for an elderly relative and my Veteran brother is a California resident and she OUGHT TO READ HER MAIL!

Prayers being lifted for your brother, Misty. It's a crime the way that those who make great sacrifices for our freedom and safety are treated so badly.
May our Father give comfort and healing to your brother. May He open the eyes of the ignorant so that they will be appreciative of what our military brothers and sisters sacrifice for us. May the unending bureaucracy that exists to stymie our veterans unravel into a system that supports them.
