Davis will resign the day before te election and make Bustamante Governor.Nope. Resignation at that point would not moot the recall election. California Elections Code section 11302 states:
If a vacancy occurs in an office after a recall petition is filed against the vacating officer, the recall election shall nevertheless proceed. The vacancy shall be filled as provided by law, but any person appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office only until a successor is selected in accordance with Article 4 (commencing with Section 11360) or Article 5 (commencing with Section 11380), and the successor qualifies for that office.
Now, about Ahnold Kennedy Shwarzenegger. First, I wonder if the media types will start pronouncing his last name Schwarta-uh-nay-ZHEER. B) Other than using his fame to help add a 500 million dollar a year boondoggle....oops, I mean....after-school program to a budget that is already 38 billion dollars in arrears, what Republican attributes has he displayed?
16 years ? ? ? Where has the time gone ? ? ?
Hmmmmm.....one must ask one's self. Would Maria Kennedy Shriver allow Mr. Kennedy-Schwarzenayzheer starve school-children and freeze old folks?
It's amazing that these broken-glass "Republicans" will beat down the door to vote for Dick Reardon's HAND-PICKED SUCCESSOR just because he has an a "R" next to his name. The sheeple who support RINOs should just save time and take Don Sunquist or George H. Ryan and make them CA governor. WE DON'T WANT THEM!!! If they really WANT RINOs, take those jerks off our hands and look forward to four years of "Republican" rule that's to the left of the Davis.
If I hear the phrase "fiscal conservative" one more time I'm going to puke. EVERY RINO claims to be a "fiscal conservative". What do you expect, an announcement that goes "I'm a fiscal liberal and I love raising taxes. Elect me and I'll triple the state income tax". Geeesh, even the Democrats don't say that.
Once again, here's Schwarzekennedy's real "record":
Schwarzenegger-backed Proposition 49 passes,which adds $1.26 billion to California's debt burden.
Arnold NEVER complains about over regulation or too high taxes
