Does anybody REALLY believe that THEY will pay any of it? Not a chance, the lawyers will waive it and claim it as a bad debt. These people are ruthless and above the law, unlike us little people.

They haven't even paid their own lawyers yet. How likely are they to pay the other guys? They may have billions squirreled away in the bank, but they're not about to spend it on stuff like that.

The Clintons could make up all of the money they owe and then some if they were to write a memoir and tell the truth about themselves. A retelling of her affairs (like with Vince Foster) or a telling by Bill how he raped Juanita and had folks beat up for trying to tell folks about his affairs would sell millions. Just think of the revelations that the left would see and the epiphany the democrats would have if this happened.

Well, my first thought was "Bet the hag regrets buying those 800,000 copies of her lousy book", but then, I realized that they just won't pay.

At least the fool lawyers that worked for them deserve the screwing.

I don't think so. No collection agency has ever been more tenacious chasing down deadbeats than a lawyer looking to get paid.

If the Clintons stiff their lawyers, they'll never hear the end of it.

If Willie doesn't still have some of those signed pardons he can sell, he certainly can gin up some of the current FBI files on just about anybody. But, don't worry, my bet is that he can still take this issue to a court the lefties own.

I don't care if they ever pay it. It will get recorded that they stiffed their lawyers and further burnish the legacy.

I think it more important that the court uses this type of language:

In 1978, then-Arkansas Attorney General William Jefferson Clinton, his wife Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Jim and Susan McDougal purchased 230 acres of undeveloped property in Arkansas. To develop the property they formed a partnership known as the Whitewater Development Company. In 1982 Jim McDougal purchased a savings and loan and renamed it Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan Association. Over the next few years, Jim McDougal and Madison Guaranty were involved in questionable financial transactions, some of which benefitted Whitewater Development. Also during this time period Mrs. Clinton and one of her law partners, Webster Hubbell, performed legal work for Madison Guaranty involving at least one of the questionable transactions. These activities eventually drew the attention of federal bank regulators, who made a criminal referral in 1992 to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Little Rock. The referrals alleged that Jim and Susan McDougal had fraudulently misused bank accounts at Madison Guaranty to benefit entities owned by them, including Whitewater Development. Additional referrals soon followed, some of which concerned questionable campaign contributions to Mr. Clinton in 1985. The U.S Attorney’s Office undertook an investigation, and in late 1993 transferred the case to the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice.

She should be called to account for this, but she won't be.

The mind reels if any associate of President Bush's, no matter how distant, (compared to the clintons' close business partners, the McDougals, and Webb Hubbell), was convicted of a crime.

But I am satisfied that history is being written in black and white and no amount of spinning will change it.

Wish they would lose their appeal. And go away.

Or: They never appealed to me in the first place.
