I have posted along with you ladies many times, applauding President Bush on many things. But don't get so mad if we want to point out some criticisms we have of him. Do I want Al Gore instead? No. Did I vote for GW Bush? Yes. Do I think he's a good man? Yes. But I simply will not accept any more spending increases quietly, and have questions about some of his other domestic agenda items views.

I worked my fanny off in 2002 to get Republicans into the majority and all I get is increased spending, larger gov't programs. I don't want to 'get along' with the Democrats in the hopes that one day one thing will be passed that I agree with.

If Bush would be as firm as he was immediately after 9-11 when it comes to the domestic agenda, that would be wonderful. Instead, he pushes legislation Teddy Kennedy applauds. It should be me applauding, not the Tedster, right?

I'm not mad about anything at all! If you got that impression from my posts, I've once again failed to get my point across.

People on this thread mistakenly believe that all of us agree with every word this administration said. They aren't reading closely enough.

And there is a difference in disagreeing on policy and actively working to defeat a sitting president for their own benefit, which I believe is part of what is going on here.
