Bush should be blocking this crap with his veto pen if necessary, instead of egging it on. And I'm going to keep saying it and keep saying it until the GOP quits treating my wallet as their slush fund for pandering to interest groups. If you can't stand that, if a former Quayle supporter has gone so far around the bend that she can't take legitimate criticism of a Republican president, then the problem is not with OWK, it is with you. Be careful when you demand that posters here toe the GOP party line or go elsewhere. You might just get what you ask for.

The spending is really bugging me. At least cut some wasteful program.
The NEA for example: In 2002, the House increased the spending for the NEA by over $12 million, which had been cut by 40% in 1995. No one vetoed that.
