In related news, a guy in Tulsa drove his girlfriend to an abortion clinic last week in order to have his own son's skull crushed and limbs torn off.....I commend your passion against abortion, BUT, find your use of such barbaric detail to defend it offensive on a thread that does not address abortion....if and when I want to read a thread about abortion I expect graphic detail (still do not understand why it need be so) and bitterness.
Most of us freepers find abortion sad and ruthless, but, we are not stupid nor in need of offensive details thrown at us again and again and this the main reason I( and perhaps many others) do not partake in abortion threads.
What value for your crusade do these lowbrow tactics hold other than deeming the crusaders who use them immature and/or lunatics?

I was endeavoring to make the following point:
(1) It's considered a necessary piece of an important news story to describe what this sicko did to the puppy.
(2) Yet, when worse violence is directed toward an unborn child, its not considered newsworthy and is unmentionable.

"Most of us freepers find abortion sad and ruthless, but, we are not stupid nor in need of offensive details ...."The details are so offensive that the pro-abortion crowd does not allow the details. Why is that ?
The pro-abortion crowd realizes that if enough citizens are made aware of the offensive details, support for abortion will surely decrease.

-GrandMoM but...hmmm
All thats necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world is for enough good men to do nothing.

You were exactly right for making the point - thanks for the wakeup!
30-40 Million dead from abortion, yet we get all teary-eyed about a puppy - sheesh!
(don't get me wrong, I love animals, BUT.....)

You missed the point of his posting. A very young puppy is thrown against the wall and the guy is arrested, and a public outcry is made. On the other hand, if there is an abortion........ nothing...........
It is satire, and very, very very sad irony at the different response to the two situations.
As to it making you uncomfortable.............GOOD! it should! If it is not addressed with graphic detail it is made nice and neat with terms like: "mass of tissue" "products of conception" "Blastocyst" etc, ad nauseum.
