In related news, a guy in Tulsa drove his girlfriend to an abortion clinic last week in order to have his own son's skull crushed and limbs torn off.
There was no public outcry, no charges and no bond set.

Police say 18-year-old Joseph Minter was arrested after a witness says he threw the six-week-old puppy against the wall while in a "fit of rage".I hope that a judge, while in a "fit of rage", throws Joseph Minter in jail for a long stint.

I'm outraged by what the man did to the puppy. I'm outraged by abortion. Just as the United States can focus on more than one element of the War on Terrorism at one time, I can be outraged by more than one thing at once.
I understand the point that the pro-life people are making. They are stunned that people aren't similarly outraged by abortion. But the replies often sound like they are trying to downplay the brutality to the animal. Both are brutal. Both should shock. By all means bring up that abortion should shock, too, but don't suggest that what this man did to the puppy shouldn't shock.
