Here are the rules: Pretend to be a dictator or television sitcom character. I'll try to guess who you are by asking simple yes/no questions. If you're not sure of the answer to a question, answer "No". If you forgot who you were pretending to be, go take a nap, you're obviously under too much stress. Also, drink plenty of fluids.

Interesting. It was correct in guessing I was Pol Pot, Idi Amin and Emperor Bokasa from Central African Empire. However, it picked Fernando Henrique Cardoso from Brazil when I was thinking of Jimmy Carter.

It got Rob Petrie (from The Dick Van Dyke Show) right. I'm pretty impressed.

And Jerry Robinson from
Bob Newhart.
And I should be out mowing my lawn right now.

It's dead on with the T.V. shows. Peter Brady, Arnold Horshack were slam dunks. But Cooter from The Dukes of Hazzard, Johnny Slash from Square Pegs, Oliver from the Brady Bunch??? Amazing....
And I'm working... theoretically...

It figured out that I was Ralph Malph. That's pretty funny.

Cool stuff. It's pretty impressive when it can guess the Gooch from Different Strokes.

Well, it got Hank Kimball from
Green Acres and Mrs. Trumbull (though it misspelled it "Trumble") from
I Love Lucy. I think it got Trumbull with only one "Yes" answer, which strikes me as pretty slick.
I think I'll give up and go mow the lawn.

However, it picked Fernando Henrique Cardoso from Brazil when I was thinking of Jimmy Carter. Were you thinking of Jimmy Carter the dictator, or Jimmy Carter the sit-com character?
To: Owl_Eagle
It even got "Ficus" from "Quark". Some database it has there.

You have a good point there! Although I guess in the end it WOULD be funny if it had happened to another country. This program nailed Bill and Hillary right off. Amazing.
I've fixed the Jimm-uh Carter thing for them too.

"It wasn't easy, but I won this time. You are player number 62 to have chosen Laura Petrie from Dick Van Dyke Show. Laura Petrie from Dick Van Dyke Show was a tough one, but I've had a lot of practice. Thanks for giving me something to do. Please visit again soon."

I stumped it with Enver Hoxha of Albania. It then prompted me for a question to distinguish him from Tito, which was the machine's guess. Now we know where it gets its database.
I'm not sure that the distinguishing question took, however, because it never returned after I submitted it. Hoxha may still stump it.
To: Owl_Eagle
Ha! Finally stumped it with Kirk Devane from Newhart.

If someone with a better memory than me can, try Huggy Bear from Starsky & Hutch. I think I blew a couple questions and it gave me Seinfeld's "Kramer" for an answer.

Started with an easy one -- I was player number 519 to pick Sgt. Schultz. Tried Hillary Clinton and it guessed that, too (I was the 15th player to pick that particular dictator).
