Does anyone remember the night a newbie got mad at John Robinson and said something like, "Who the f_ _ _ do you think you are posting that kind of stuff."

My favorite thread was the Beelzebub thread from the Demo(n)cratic debates. I couldn't believe there existed a large group of people who could laugh so joyously at the devil!

Sadly the thread has been pulled. :-(

(And speaking of threads being pulled I have a dim memory of a thread that was hijacked south and became a freeper fest of euphemisms for, well, "thread pulling.")

These two posts still sick in my mind after all this time:

CLINTON/CASTRO WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

CLINTON/CASTRO WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

One is an amoral communist and ruthless autocrat who loots the economic base of his country for his own personal gain. The other one runs Cuba.

HILLARY! Shoves 98 Year Old Frail Senator Thurmond

According to congressional reporters, Senator Clinton pushed fragile Republican Strom Thurmond out of the way in order to get to the NBC New York affiliate's camera crew. "Thurmond stumbled and nearly fell down, but Sen. Ted Kennedy grabbed hold of him," says one of the reporter witnesses.

There are some good keywords on this early ZOT thread:

Zot

This classic near opus post almost reached 1000 responses. It also restarted some other old threads. It was even posted as Breaking News. The poster is still with us.

What the hell does it take to get an answer around here?

I remember one thread about the mis-fortunes suffered by the cheese eating surrender monkeys when they tried to build an aircraft carrier.

Lots of little problems, they built it just a bit to short for landings, and when they fired up the laundry, the vibration almost tore the ship apart, during the year 2000, I think, would love to see it again.
