My problem with this approach is that they are putting too much faith in American public. If Bush takes a hard-hit on the issue of credibility between now and next Auguest, I'm not sure releasing WMD info would overturn the trend.

If accurately reported, Mc Inerney's statement does bring to mind, FNC's WH reporter, Jim Angle's statement that the "Bush WH is the most secretive" he's covered. Absolutely. Look what happens when one line from the SOTU speech isn't 100% verifiable. a full week of 'rats calling Dubya a "liar" and nearly demanding his impeechment.
