[history]
Editor -- The constant loss of U.S. soldiers in Iraq -- after the war is "won" -- is a tragedy. However, if this is what it takes to retire the Bush administration at the next election, the sacrifice is justified.

Remember that a donation doesn't have to be large to be significant. There are tens of thousands of FReepers. If everyone would donate just $1.00 a month, we would never have to have another of these FReepathons.

I suspected some Dems thought it but doubted any one would dare say it.Only God knows how someone could be so callous.

This touching letter must be from one of those kind, caring liberals that us mean, nasty conservatives just can't tolerate.

What is the precise link to this letter? I can't locate it online. Also, did the author post his address and phone number? That's highly unusual.

Liberals hate the military. It goes beyond that; they hate America.

Liberals hate America.
If they took their hate of government and country to the countries they rally around they would be shot. Period, end of life, the end.

This post may be bogus. In addition to not being able to find the actual letter, and the fact that The Chronicle doesn't post addresses and phone numbers of letter writers, the area code for Mill Valley, CA is 415.

It now appears that the text of the letter has been removed; where did the phone number and address come from?

This is bogus. "Arie L. Bleicher"'s letter is about Wal-Mart NOT about troop deaths.
Are we being baited?

The "phone number" had a bogus area code of 555. That is a nonexistent area code that's used in movies and TV shows as a substitute for real phone numbers.
