The apology is worse than the original mess. Soooooooo, instead of calming things down, Doug just throws gasoline of the flames. But only people like you, nopardons, who play Hercule Poirot to Miss Marple's Miss Marple, can track the evidence well enough to PROVE that he hasn't calmed things down.
Many posters say they accept the apology and think that his coming clean shows what integrity he has.
Too bad the same can't be said about Wilkinson.
