Everyone does before it goes to the President. Being a Clinton appointee, I'm shocked he's being so ....human!

Maybe that's why he was held over by Bush. Maybe he actually has some integrity?

Or maybe Bush stands behind Tenet, because he doesn't think another person could do a better job. I think Bush believes in delegating, and he believes in loyalty. Both are very telling about how the President sees his role in the government.

George Tenet has OU President David Boren as his mentor and he was here in Norman for commencement. George Tenet has tremendous respect for President and it came across loud and clear.

If you all remember, David Boren led the fight as a Democrat to confirm Thomas to the SCOTUS. One of his first steps after resigning from the Senate was to start the procedure to oust Anita Hill from the OU Staff and he succeeded. He resigned from the Senate to become President of OU and one big reason was the election of Bill Clinton. David Boren called for Clinton to resign the night Monicagate broke and was on national TV when he did it.

If David Boren recommended George Tenet along with Senator Inhofe's recommendation, which happened, then if I were the President, he would have my support.

Best pro-American commencement speech I have ever heard! That man bleeds red, white, and blue!
