I see there are many of us who are resorting to sarcasm.

Lately it seems the only way to cut through all this craziness.

50,000 people go to a baseball game, but the game was rained out. A refund is then due. The team is about to mail refunds when the Congressional Democrats stopps them and decrees that they send out refund amounts based on the Democrat National Committee's interpretation of fairness. After all,if the refunds are made based on the price each person paid for the tickets, most of the money would go to the wealthiest ticket holders. That would be unconscionable!

I'm not sure if you're familiar with a game we had in the states when I was a kid.  It's was called Shutes and Ladders, (Slides and Ladders).  Instead of a Road Map to peace, this seems more like the old game to me.

Picture a game board like Monopoly, broken down into a grid with lots of squares on it.  Some of these squares had ladders based in them, leading upward to another square way up the board.  Other squares had slides in them, which took you down the board back toward the beginning.  Both had long and short versions that might see you advancing or or retreating various distances.

You would roll the dice, then move your piece.  Land on a square occupied by a Shute or a Ladder and you might be closer or farther away from your goal.  Everyone started in the lower left hand square and the first person to the upper right hand square would win.

In this version, the ladders have been turned off for Israel, the shutes turned off for the Palestinians.

Israel takes one hundred steps forward and slides back to the bottom row.  The Palestininans take two steps forward and wind up on the top row of squares, very close to their goal.

This is a game that I think Israel is crazy to play by these rules.  But sadly it is.
