This is my hunch.

Thompson got caught by Freepers... if he hadn't, this whole "scandal" wouldn't have been pushed to the forefront, right now. The networks are being propelled by the whispers in Washington, right?

The Wilson story has been out for awhile, and it didn't cause that much of a stir. Where is the rest of the information? Where is the strong evidence that backs up Wilson's assertions?

If this is true, then the Democrats are using their BIG gun (ha! It isn't much to look at!) right now, instead of later. And, this will die down. The public will not tolerate this same drum beat for a year, will they? There has to be another bombshell for this to continue. And, I don't think there is one to find!

Blair was cleared in the Parliment's investigation. Bush doesn't have as much to worry about as the leftists want people to believe. Blair bolster's Bush's case. Powell answered the reporters' questions yesterday. If Bush ignores this... it will have to die out soon.

The Wilson story broke in Great Britain again this week which means it broke right after the Clintons were there. First time I saw it this week was in the Guardian.

IMO that ties to the Clintons to Wilson because of timing and location!

When Thompson used the word LIED Freepers tore into the article. For some reason he came on here and gave his apology which made it worse especially when Freepers pulled out his story about RAT dirty tricks against President Bush after the Iraq War.

My take is that the Clintons are trying to take down Pres Bush right now and see if this works. If this hurts Pres Bush, then I would look for her to announce she is running and why I think this timed for now! I could be very wrong about that but that is the only answer I can come up with for timing.

You're asking someone who thought Bill Clinton didn't have a prayer of being President!I don't belive one line in the speech is going to do it.I do believe fomenting trouble for the CIA/NSA/Whitehouse is good for the Dems and Congress will want to look all concerned about this,etc,etc.

What they want is to bring down President Bush in any way they can. They don't give a hoot about the Military .. They don't give a hoot about the American People and they don't give a hoot about our national security.

What they care about is power and pay backs for Clinton being impeached
