To Michael, and others,

I am not Jewish, but I have always had an interest in Jewish history, and in the Bible.

This following sentence caused me to smile, for a moment.

I learned quickly, however, that your mom could not pack you a bologna and cheese sandwich for lunch.

(So unKosher.)

There are a few terms in your post that I have no knowledge of. In context I can likely figure the meanings of such terms out.

Here are some words from your post that I do not understand.

Chabad

mensch.

machmir

kiddush

Chabad

kippa

Breslover chassidim

shtreimel

 tefillin

Sukkot

shvitz (you said sweat)

 tzitzit     (ritual fringes) Huh?

Thank you for your service to our Nation!
