You know nothing about Pat Robertson. He's a man who does good, and does bad. Just like you and me. The only thing is that his actions affect more people. He's done REALLY good things, as well as things that have hurt people and confused people. Don't knee-jerk against this person.

ABC tried to buy it, but Pat wanted time on the cable channel as part of the deal. ABC said no. Fox bought it with those
conditions, then sold it a few money losing years later to ABC with the 700 Club slots intact AND for
substantially more than ABC offered a few short years earlier.
