I dont agree with Robertson but do you know how odd this sounds coming from a conservative website? I dont know all the facts but my take is Taylor isnt threatening the United States one iota. Bush has no real right to remove him considering the threat level Taylor poses to us.
Lottsa people think Bush is a horrible leader and that he needs to go...I held my nose on the way to the township hall to vote for Bush, only because I couldn't find the gas mask...
I've done a little research on this Taylor guy and I don't find much significant...Except he claimed to be a friend of the US and called on the United States to help him and his Democracy out while enduring these attacks by muslims...
In Taylor's gov't, there are about 30 or so political parties representing the people as opposed to the two (or 3) that we have...Could be the folks in Liberia felt they didn't have much choice except to vote for Taylor to keep the muslims out...Religious wise, the country is 40% christian, 40% indigenous and 20% muslim...And if Taylor sides with militias in Sierra Leone on the side of Christians against muslims, I may side with Taylor also...Who knows, anyone???
But this thing is beginning to have the stink of Kosovo and Yugoslavia...What's with our country seemingly wanting to take sides against Christians when it comes to muslims???
So.
So is Castro.
So is Mobutu.
So is Kim Jong Il.
So are scores of other tyrants and despots.
Where in the US Constitution does it say that the US has a duty or even jurisdiction to remove every horrible leader in the world?
