The attempted robbery suspect was already subdued when Metro police arrived on the scene; he also was naked and bound with duct tape.

The treatment was courtesy of two men, a store employee and a truck driver making a delivery, who overpowered the would-be robber yesterday at the Dollar General store at 3852 Dickerson Pike, police said.

Police find robbery suspect naked and bound with duct tape.

Any odds on how soon the perp will become the "victim" and sue for assault and sexual battery?

Bet the police will give the duct tape a good 'tug' getting it off.

It is a case of an all-time loser when a 38 year-old unarmed man tries to rob a Dollar General store, gets beat up, stripped naked, taped and left on a street corner. Bell needs to seriously re-think his life.

Nice: Duct-taping your trash before you set it by the curb for pickup.

"Hedge and Minter stripped the suspect, duct-taped his arms and legs and took him to a street corner to wait for police, investigators said."

Bwah hahahaha I bet this idiot probably about crapped his pants when... Oh wait he couldn't have, he was beat naked!

Bwah hahahahaha

Well, you'd think that they could have at least put postage stamps all over his head, with an address to to the nearest prison.

Probably his being stood naked on a corner will have more of an affect on him than a prison sentence (if any, sigh) will. Certainly not the kind of thing you'd brag about to the other folks in your cell block.

So ...

Where DID they rap him with duct tape? The optimum placement could have optimum effect when joyfully and energetically removed by the police department.

It is a 100% certainty that the good guys are going to be sued big time. The attorney should then be stripped and duct taped.

There's a card stuck to the duck tape: "Packaged with care by your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man"

"Hold muh beer 'n watch this!" PING....

If you want on or off this list, please let me know!

The guy said he had a gun. They had to strip him to find it. When they didn't find the gun, they duct taped him to hold him until the police arrived. Sounds reasonable to me.

Of course, instead they would have been reasonable in just beating the crap out of him, so he shouldn't complain.

So who wants to take bets on whether or not this robber will sue the guys who beat, stripped, and duct taped him?

Why take it off? The duct tape is likely the only punishment this perp will receive.

postage stamps all over his head

He would have to cut into 70 lb pieces as that is the maximum weight mailable.
