A horse walks into a bar. The bartender comes up and says "Hey pal, what will it be?"
The horse orders a beer.
A few minutes later, John Kerry walks in and sits at the bar. The bartender walks up and says "Hey pal, cheer up. Why the long face?"
I'll stop if you guys will donate and get us over our fundraising goal

smoking crack leads to demon possession
or ... does the demon make you smoke it?
Hell's keepers celebrate such a crime as attacking a little girl on her way to Bible study.

smoking crack leads to demon possession or ... does the demon make you smoke it? I am glad I scanned the replies before I posted, because I was going to say almost that exact thing. This is where I come apart from my libertarian friends. That drug cocaine, and in crack form in particular, is evil.
Spend some time around crackheads and really try to understand them... you can almost SEE the demons flying in cricles around their heads(metaphorically speaking, of course).
I know this lawyer is just using this as a ploy to get the guy off, and I hope it doesn't work, because what he is saying is that if he smokes crack again he might do it again.
I dated a girl who cheated on me when she went out with her girlfriends. I found out(it like a Girls Gone Wild incident) and her argumentwas basically "I was drunk, so it doesn't count." The next Thursday, I was a "paranoid" "control freak" because I didn't want her to go out with her girlfriends again! Needless to say, that relationship didn't last. : ) (Even *I* am not THAT gullible.)
If being on crack excuses this guy's behavior, then all any pedophile has to do is hit the rock before he does his thing and it's okay.
I say "death penalty."

I'm confused. Title says "sex slave", article talks about the events of one day. Why would they use such a phrase to describe kidnapping and rape? Especially about a twelve-year-old victim who might read it?
To: chance33_98
And of course he's really dealt a blow to the victim's life, too Oh, yeah. Almost forgot about her. I guess the victim is one of the victims. But maybe we should dwell on the pain experienced by this monter's family.

Premeditated kidnapping and rape. Must have taken some time to build his box before he went out searching for a victim. When a perp confesses to horrific crimes like this I sometimes think summary executions are in order.

That's the diminished capacity defense in a nutshell. It allows murders to become manslaughterers, as they didn't have the frame of mind to form intent.

I advocate capital punishment for sex offenders.
The evidence proving rape and molestation has to be strong for it, there are false accusations. When it is provable beyond doubt, I say death.

Rape, attempted murder, and a third DUI conviction should all get the death penalty. Along with voting for Clinton in '96, Gore in '00, and currently owning or possessing Barb[a]ra Streisand albums...
