Kirk brilliantly distills conservatism into a handful of aphorisms that define much more than a political movement: they define the essence of civilization itself.
Many refer to Kirk as dated, passe or less than fully addressing todays questions. While his death was almost ten years ago, I think many of his thoughts will be pertinent for decades and centuries.
Do we think of Burke or Adams as outdated? Of course not. And neither should we categorize Burke, Hayek or Weaver as such.
