I'm not a big Savage fan. He is not my idol. He is not conservative. I don't agree with all his comments. In fact his comments are all over the board and contradict each other from day to day.
But I see you have devolved in to ad hominum -- and false one at that -- that Savage is "my idol".
Would you say "take a long walk on a short pier is a death threat?" Would it be worth being fired over?
This article pretty much proves the whole thing is a big nothing, distorted and taken out of context. The guy called with his harrassment, Savage figured it out, he then responded in kind with insults and asking if the caller has nothing better to do?
If you honestly believe that "take a long walk on a short pier" is the same as saying "I hope you get AIDS and die", then clearly there's no reasoning with you. And trust me, anyone following this thread can see that too.
Go ahead and accuse me of being a leftist, liberal loving, conservative bashing, lemming, or whatever other ad hominem YOU have used in the past, I don't care. You are irrational, plain and simple. Anyone can see that. You will take that as an ad hominem, but sometimes words and phrases that hurt aren't ad hominems, they're simply accurate.
