We don't know he's a pedophile, the age of the girls has not been revealed yet. They were referred to as minors and teenagers, but that covers a range of age and physical maturity.

We also don't know yet whether the girl was a local who might have known Woodringer, or part of a carload from out of town who stopped for gas and a pit stop, and had no prior acquaintance with the suspect at all. All we know is that a complaint was filed by the girl with the police in Hesperia.
