[history]
To put that into perspective, the most powerful production-car audio I know of is the $230,000+ 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish's 1,200-watt system. Irving carries $80,000 worth of audio alone, in a vehicle that is worth, admittedly, slightly less than the Maybach. Must be fun to ride down Main Street with the windows rolled down, right?

Agreed. I was at an auto show (indoors) and outside they were having a stereo contest. Nothing but repeated bass beats (no music to it). Still was a nuisence to everyone
inside.
I don't get this trend. $80k? A fool and his money.
Can't even drive the car (physical impossibility). People call the cars that are never driven at car shows "trailer whores".

18 yr old spending $80K? Sounds like dad and mom need to have a reality check.

People call the cars that are never driven at car shows "trailer whores". Last year I saw an immaculate '69 Camaro RS with 46 miles on it. Talk about a cherry, I just stared at this thing for like 20 minutes.

It is as bad as buying guns that you never intend to shoot. What is the point except to spend money you don't have on things you don't need to impress people you don't like?
