Outdoor Life Network carrying Running of the Bulls every night this week
Outdoor Life Network ^ | 7.8.03

Posted on 07/08/2003 7:35:58 AM PDT by mhking

Outdoor Life Network will carry coverage of the Running of the Bulls on tape delay each night in prime-time on cable and satellite:

Running of the Bulls
July 7 from 7-8pm ET, July 8-15 from 7:30-8pm ET, July 16 from 7-8pm ET

If you thought the action in the Peleton was fierce, it's nothing compared to the thunderous sounds of 1800-pound beasts chasing you for a half mile through the narrow streets of Pamplona. You won't want to miss coverage of the 2003 Running of the Bulls. OLN presents all of the exhilarating action from the Fiesta de San Fermin.

its easy to get there. just take a train. you may have to make reservations on the train from irun(?) into pamplona. that or just take a bus. its crowded. and crazy. as for places to stay, there are all sorts of 'local flavor' at the stations greeting you with offers on renting a room in their apt. some are cheap, some arent. as for me, personally, i went alone. met some aussies in the train station. none of us had a place to stay so we slept in the park by the old city walls. met up with some more aussies. store your stuff in the little hostel about 4 blocks north of plaza de san fransisco or something along those lines. you can pay 20 bucks to sleep there but the accomodations suck. you get a piece of foam and are told to go find a piece of ground to sleep in. best weekend of my life though. if any of yall know a place online where i can watch the actual run, please email me the site. jacaranda81@hotmail.com hope you get out there. its intense.
