Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean told a crowd packed inside a Deerfield house that President Geoge W. Bush is 'foolish' on foriegn policy and that America is quickly becoming the next Argentina.
Dean's late afternoon arrival in Deerfield was his third New Hampshire house party yesterday. He already had shook hands and spoken to people in Munsonville and Atkinson.
Dean spent Friday in New Hampshie as well, campaigning in the southern half of the state.
In the fan-cooled Deerfield home, Dean continued his criticism of Bush, including the Presidents economic policy the invasion and occupation of Iraq and Bush's lack of a plan for comprehensive health insurance coverage.
Dean also criticized the Democratic Party for trying to woo conservatives and ignoring traditional Democratic issues like health care

I guess Howard is announcing his belief Evita Clinton will be elected El Presidente.

I know Argentina and I cannot think of a more inane, stupid, uninformed comment than that made by Dean.

Laughable demagougery like this convinces me that Dean will not be able to parlay his primary success into a credible general election candidacy. He may be able to tap into the vein of discontent amongst liberal malcontents but most normal Americans can see right through such transparent hyperbole.
To: ewing
Why is this fool wasting his time? His views are too liberal, ridiculous and out-of-touch for mainstream America. The Democratic Party even knows this and the Argentina comment sealed the coffin.
To: ewing
...America is quickly becoming the next Argentina This is sterotyping Argentina and shows cultural insensitivity on the part of Howard Dean. =)

Wasn't he the jerk that changed the state motto to "Pay Fees Or Die"?

Dean couldn't even successfully manage a state with a population of less than Jackson, Mississippi. Most mayors have greater responsibility than this guy did as governor.

Laughable demagougery like this convinces me that Dean will not be able to parlay his primary success into a credible general election candidacy.I certainly don't agree with the details of Dean's proposals...
But I don't see anybody on this thread offering anything of substance to refute his demagougery either.

He may be able to tap into the vein of discontent amongst liberal malcontents but most normal Americans can see right through such transparent hyperbole.Like they saw through the clintons? I respectfully disagree. Most americans have no knowledge, no education and no discernment when it comes to politicians. More americans supposedly voted for algore and he is a moron of the highest magnitude.
