I agree about needing help. When this happened with my oldest child, I sought immediate help. But you do realize there are what I refer to as many genetic u-turns and to treat psychosis is easier than trying to treat an anti-social person. For that only genetic therapy and trasferrence will help.

I do believe that all avenues should be studied, and that this child needs complete assistance. I do not know if he can be "cured". I am assuming that his suffering is so severe, that he will not lead a "normal" life for a long time to come, if ever. My main concern is that he gets the best opportunity to ease his suffering.
I do understand the distinction between psychosis and the anti-social personality. I just do not know which side of the fence this child sits on, today.
I have a family member who suffers from a myriad of mental disorders, and I know that he has suffered for over twenty-five years. My prayers are with this poor child. And no, I do not excuse what he did.
