. . . we never get to the truth with the Kennedys and the Clintons because they refuse to tell it!And their bootlicking Kool Aid drinkers can never remember a single thing, darn it.

One of the interesting aspects of your account is that the incident took place
after Teddy supposedly cleaned up his act. According to the WP:
He made a highly publicized speech at Harvard in 1991, acknowledging the disappointment of friends and many others who rely on me and promised to overcome the faults in the conduct of my private life as he continued to fight the good fight in the Senate.

She can never be elected president. . .I surely hope you're right. My concern is that it wasn't too long ago that many of us took satisfaction in believing She can never be elected senator.

A lot of us don't have any memories of Ted before he became a sorry mess. That must have been very early, like before he got kicked out of Harvard for cheating.

I once saw a photograph of the Kennedy family in Europe before the war. Teddy was a cute little fellow, looking for all the world like a young chipmunk wearing shorts.
Today, he still looks like a chipmunk with winter's worth of food stuffed in his florid cheeks. By some accounts, he still prances about playfully in his shorts...
