The Free Republic 3rd quarter FReepathon is underway!
Howdy everyone. Time to get rolling again on raising the funds necessary to keep FR on the air. We've accomplished quite a bit in the last few years on FR, but there is much more work to be done. FReeper activism was an important factor in Clinton's impeachment effort as well as helping to block Al Gore's attempted theft of the White House. And more recently, FReepers organized and supported hundreds of rallies in cities all across the nation countering the peaceniks and rallying public support for our President and our troops. I thank God that George W. Bush was our President on 9/11 instead of Al Gore! And I thank God for the tens of thousands of patriotic FReepers who worked so hard to help make that happen!
The next 18 months or so are going to be supercritical in our continued fight against liberalism. The liberals will be attempting to retake control of our government and they will no doubt pull out all stops in regards to corruption in fundraising, campaigning and electioneering. And we still have the Clintons and their followers waiting in the wings. Even though President Bush enjoys high popularity ratings, anything can happen.
We must double and redouble our efforts to block the liberals and win a landslide election for Bush and the Republicans. If we give Bush and the Republicans a conservative mandate and a filibuster proof Senate then we will have an historic opportunity of appointing and approving a conservative court and a possibility of overturning decades of liberal activist rulings!
It's time to get this show on the road! I'm urging a nationwide FReeper drive to register voters and get out the conservative vote. This is not an election where we can afford to stay home or sit on our hands or register protest votes. Every conservative vote is critical!
And, as always, we must remain diligent. FReepers gathering and disseminating relevant news items, exposing and refuting liberal lies, propaganda and corruption coupled with our nationwide rallies and protests and activism are making a difference.
Looking forward to an exciting election cycle and many years of conservative successes to follow.
Thanks very much for your continuing participation and support!
FReegards,
Jim Robinson

That was Herr Davis's green hair dye job to impress the enviralist green jihadists who vote for him.
Now, he can't afford green dye and looks really white and dingy gray.

I won't be around very much more today.
We're celebrating our wedding anniversary (actually it was Monday) today.
I'll try to put up some lists before I go, if we get to a new page, and some more later this evening.
Be back in the morning full time.

To be honest, the only thing I miss here is the green...and Mrs. HJ has pretty much turned the inside of the house into a jungle so I get plenty of that when I need it! My sister keeps trying to grow grass on the front lawn and it keeps dying ..
I think I could live without the green lawn .. it's the bugs, snakes and spiders that she always tell me about that I have a hard time dealing with .. our bugs here aren't that big .. THANK GOODNESS

Rules for Funkeling. In order to score a Fair Funkle on Free Republic, a FReeper must observe the following rules:
1) The thread chosen must have been active within 1/2 hour prior to declaring an attempt.
2) The FReeper must delare a "Fair Funkle" attempt in his/her first post.
3) The FReeper must post count downs from 4 to 1 (the declaration post counts as the first post) at no less than 5 minute intervals.
4) It is the duty of any freeper seeing the declaration to post a "bump", thus ending the attempt.
5) The successful FReeper may, at the fifth and last post, declare in any derisive terms desired, "I did it! A Fair Funkle!"
6) Scoring of Fair Funkles will be by a jury of FReeper peers (the Funkle Committee), and will include: time intervals between count down posts, total time consumed and thread popularity prior to the Fair Funkle.
7) Scoring disputes will be decided by the Funkle Committee and may not be appealed.
8) The awarding of the annual Fairest Funkle Of Them All trophy will be decided by the Funkle Committee.
