Let me explain it to the hard of thinking:
He has the right to his opinion. It's not just for leftist losers, you know. He has the right to state it. Does he not?
You used your right to express and type tonight, didn't you? Why deny him his right? What if I disagree with you? What if I feel homosexuality is a Marxist way to dismantle our civilization from within? To break down the moral fiber to the state of national chaos, where only a Socialist society could survive? Should I be banned for it? I'm not PC enought?
It's unusual for a conservative to speak out. He sould be praised, not PC condemned for it.

This isn't a free speech issue -- I'm not denying he had a right to say what he did. I'm saying he crossed the line and showed himself to be a disgusting human specimen. I'm saying he gives conservatives a bad name.

[By the way, he doesn't have a right to work for MSNBC.}

And you have a right to disagree with me. Next time you meet a homosexual, I invite you to exercise your right to tell him you wish he was dead. And I invite every decent person within earshot to exercise their right to shun you like the plague.

Sure, he has a right to his opinion. He just doesn't have the right to say whatever the hell he wants on MSNBC. His show was on the air at the pleasure of MSNBC, and HE KNEW IT. He also doesn't have the right to have a show on MSNBC. I remember Phil Donahue bitching about being "silenced" when his show was cancelled because of dismal ratings. You all sound a lot like Phil Donahue in this respect.

~~~Why deny him his right?~~~
He still has his right to speak. His employer simply told him that his right was NOT going to be expressed on their network, on their dime.
Employers' DO have their rights as well, imo.
