I think you are reading more into my comment than is actually there. I'm not comparing anything to anything. Lighten up!

Listen, I'm just trying to show you how wrong it is. The homosexuals do it all the time. They ride on the coattails of the civil rights movement, comparing themselves to a minority. It's comparing a sick action to an ethnic group.

I have never posted an 'I agree' but you have hit the nail on the head. I believe Savage's reactions are more over frustration that NOBODY listens to the majority of the public: the administration; the congress; the black-robed bastards; the media. In this republic you can advance any agenda you want - just claim persecution (true or not). If gays would shut the f*** up people would ignore them and they could explore and probe each other's bodily excretion/feces channels as they desire.

For the record too: I agree with Savage's politics, but clearly to anyone with an ounce of compassion and or sense, he's nothing but an ass.I agree with most of what Savage says, as well, but if the goal is to elect conservatives to office you ain't gonna do it with a conservative talk show host with a manic-depressive on-air personality.
Savage effectively trented himself (to trent: verb-- to commit suicide by use of the mouth. Synonym-- to lott) due to stupidity or chemical imbalance, but it could have been worse. He could have been found in bed with a 14 year old boy which would have killed his radio career as well (everywhere but in San Francisco where he would've been given a prime time slot during rush hour on KGO)....

I caught that waste of human tissue - KSFO Pete Wilson - do a twenty minute 'I hate you' tirade against a solid American like Michael Savage from 1906 hours through 1926 hours tonight. He and that Disney puppet KSFO crew aren't even good enough to lick the sweat off Michael's as. Just a slight correction as to the puppet crew at KSFO. Pete Wilson is on KGO, not KSFO. He is on from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Yet Nina Totenberg says that if there is "any sense of retributive justice in the world," Jesse Helms and/or his grandchildren will get AIDS - and she stays on the air.If there's any sense of retributive justice in the next world, Nina Totenberg will re-incarnate as Nina Totenberg....

They ride on the coattails of the civil rights movement, comparing themselves to a minority. You'll get no argument from me about that.
Changing the subject a little--Am I the only one here who feels that Savage let us conservatives down? He had a great platform to get his borders, language and culture message across to folks who probably never listen to talk radio. What does he do? He either refuses or is unable to rein in his tongue from making gratuitous comments.
America needs angry men. It doesn't need stupid angry men. I'm a Savage supporter and I feel let down.
Quite frankly, Savage is a disgrace to conservativism. I'm glad he got fired, he deserved it. Now, if we can only get him on the radio...

"If he had told a white male pro-life Christian to go blow himself up in front of an abortion clinic he wouldn't have been fired, he would have probably been awarded an Emmy and his show promoted to a better timeslot on MSNBC."

Gee, I wonder what it would've meant if I told you to go choke on a sausage instead and that I hoped you'd die of breast cancer, SARS, cervical cancer, or AIDS. Funny all of the other diseases (breast cancer, SARS, cervical cancer) are the result of ordinary living and NOT CAUGHT due to piss poor LIFESTYLE CHOICES!

Exactly. I went to bed thinking about it and when I woke up this morning, I had that thought pop into my head. Savage is like that guy in the movie "Network" where he screams, "I'm mad as He** and I ain't gonna take it anymore!" I feel the same way and so do a lot of others, Savage is basically a mouthpiece for that. Right or wrong, that can be debated but Mike Savage sums up on how we feel inside and outside.
Like I said a while back, if they keep it in the bedrooms in privacy, I have no problem with that. I believe it is wrong, people will still pray for them to see the light but people are going to do what they are going to do so in essence, we all have free will. But when they come out to impose their will on society through the courts, you end up with a tyranny of the minority. Yes, we are tolerant enough to see that if they keep it in the bedrooms, we have no problems but when it comes to homosexual marriage and adoption of kids, I have to say "no."
If they (whatever liberal cause groups are out there) "push it" too far, all they are going to do is create a nasty backlash and I can't blame people for feeling that way. Like Savage, I felt my country is being taken away slowely, or not so slowely so no wonder many of us feel mad about it. Savage has the microphone to the masses where as most of us don't so again, he is saying to the world what any of us would wish we can do.

People like Savage only give conservatives a bad name. He only gives more fuel to the raging fire that is the stereotypical "bigoted conservative". He's a liability, not an asset, his "normally" articulate nature aside.
Savage effectively trented himself (to trent: verb-- to commit suicide by use of the mouth. Synonym-- to lott) due to stupidity or chemical imbalance, but it could have been worse. Only problem is he'll never run for political office.
I think he should retire and go sail his boat or drive his Jag.
He tells the truth but it goes in one PC ear and out the other as witnessed by a lot of replies here.
Bottom line...keep your guns oiled!
