It's a telling sign that PC has embedded itself so deeply in this society that many can't even see that they've completely succumbed to it. Willingly. It's that ingrained. Yep. "Repeat a lie often enough, and the people will eventually begin to believe it" - Marx.

Private schools, private schools, private schools.
Or home school.
I would never, not in a million years, send any child into a public school. They are cesspools. Sodomites are the least of the problem...wait until they tell your kid George Washington is an evil, slave owning, white racist. That Thomas Jefferson was an evil, slave owning, white racist...who slept with his slave. That Martin Luther King, Jr. is more important that Abraham Lincoln. That white people are bad...black, brown, red and yellow people good.
Public schools are nothing more leftist indoctrination centers. They're the leftist equivalent of Hitler Youth camps, except they wear rainbow swastikas on their armbands.

So some twerp lied about what he was calling about, and in the middle of the story tried to slip in some obscene insult. I don't blame Savage for responding as he did. 0 Oh well, MSNBC sucks anyway. The only thing worth watching on the network is Scarborough Country. You beat me to it.

Public schools are nothing more leftist indoctrination centers. Yep again. We chose to homeschool. I love my kids too much to send them into the lions den.

There's no excuse for Savage's remarks. MSNBC was right in firing him. I was going to say I hope he learns his lesson, but I doubt he's able or willing to do that...
This reflects very poorly on conservatives, and I hope FR will have the decency to set some standards similar to that of MSNBC's.

They were inspired enough that you tried to immitate and emulate them.
But you're a third-rate, cone-head that I can play ring toss with, NOT an original mind, and a rational, logical thinker like the great Michael Savage.

One last time... Why do you not stand behind Savage on this one issue if you are not for homosexualityFor one last time... A business can fire one of its employees for behavior that they feel will hurt their business. Unless you prefer communism it would seem that you would agree with that notion.
Why would I stand behind a person who openly roots for long, slow, painful deaths of human beings?
The more important question is why you would root for the same thing.

I think he simply lost his temper.
He might soon have some free time to cool his heels and deal with his short fuse.

"I intended it as ironic, as a joke to show how violence begets more violence," Lee told reporters Thursday. "I told everyone there it was a joke. I said I did not want to read in the papers, 'Shoot Charlton Heston.'" Talk about back-pedaling. Spike Lee comes off like a real coward here.

The book of Leviticus pretty much puts them in the same catagory as having sex with animals.>>>
Yep, and in Genises, God flooded the earth for the same, "wickedness" aka. sleeping with animals, same sex partners and stealing....
Heaven help us.
There is a FR thread with links to savage's radio show.

Michael, we wish you luck with your new job haranguing passersby with your bullhorn on 5th and Market.

You're calling yourselves conservatives and yet you are gleeful he's been yanked. Most of you are gloating over the fact that his show was canceled. All because you think he's too "loud" or "too mean". Go yank yourself if that makes you gleeful. I don't give a rat's a$$ about Savage, about his stupid show, or about you. I'm too busy on Saturday to sit in front of the tube and watch any jerkwad, Liberal or Conservative, spout off SH!T that only SH!T for brains would want to listen too.
I don't think the @$$ was too loud or too mean. I think he made a stupid decision in front of a national TV audience, most of whom are neither mean nor conservative.
Furthermore, BITE ME.

I still don't know what was the offensive term in Mike's outburst. Sausage? Sodomite? AIDS? Bathhouse?
He made 2 comments telling the caller to drop dead.
"Go jump in the lake" isn't a request to go in the water and cool off, it's a comment to "drown yourself".
"Be like Ben Franklin and go fly a kite" has a lethal connotation too.
"You sound like a smoker, hope you die of cancer" may not have the same ring to it, but would it have gotten Mike canned?
I paid to see a concert in Houston with Royal Crown Revue, the B-52s, and the Pretenders. Chrissie Hynde asked the crowd, "Are there any meat eaters here tonight?" and then said "I hope you all choke on it!". She was never rebuked in press or on radio (locally or nationally). Ted Nuggent was rebuked afterwards for making politically charged statements about illegal aliens at that same venue. He was even banned by the venue.
Double standards exist. I just need to know what the politically inccorrect transgression was here (telling a caller to drop dead, seizing on his homosexuality, or mentioning AIDS; I'm going to assume it wasn't the choking on sausage line because no one seems to be mentioning it).

I really don't think there's a comparison between Lott's remarks and Savage's.
