U.S. officials to begin getting rid of Iraqi dinars with Saddam's image

ASSOCIATED PRESS

BAGHDAD, Iraq, July 7 — U.S. authorities announced Monday they will begin replacing Iraq's dinar in October in a currency swap that will rid the bill of the image of Saddam Hussein, months after his fall from power.

Ah,.....just leave the SH picture dinar alone,....but,........

NOW make it exchange at the lowest of lowest Iraqi currency value in Iraq's history!

One thing I've never heard discussed vis a vis Sad Man's "image" is how many of his pictures around the country remain. Prior to the war, there was a giant picture of Saddam on just about every street corner, on billboards, on the sides of buildings, you name it.

Now, AFTER the war - we know the statues have come down, but what about all the giant PICTURES? Have they been painted over? No one has said...
