Japanese culture can be very strange and very, very sick. They only outlawed child pornography about five years ago. Before then, it was perfectly legal. Men would read it on the subways and everyone was expected to just look away and give them their zone of privacy (because that's what people do in Japan).

Let's not forget that rape itself has only been outlawed in Japan for about twenty years. When Japanese women first went into the workplace it was common to suffer rape at the hands of employers and coworkers. Also, there is still a comicbook character over there called "RAPEMAN" can you guess what his superpowers consist of?
