Well, Ann Coulter makes to #2 two on the New York Times Best Seller list. Quite the accomplishment since she did not have the media love fest that fawned all over Hillary Clinton. "Living History" is still listed as number one, but I suspect that will not last much longer. Hillary Clinton's book career has seen its best days! I urge all who want to see the Clintons destroyed to go out and buy Ann Coulter's book, if you have not already done so. Let's collectively make Ann Coulter #1 on next week's best seller list of the NYT!

Her real eye color is hazel, but while in the WH, she began "experimenting" with contacts, IIRC. A friend said something to the effect that tourquoise was truly awful on her, but she settled on blue. I wonder who's helping her now with her hair? Remember how terrible she looked right after being elected Senator, and lost the free services of a WH hairdresser? Talk about your pigs in a poke!
Regarding Ann, does anybody know why FrontPageMagazine pulled Ann's usual Thursday column this week? Really strange. All references to it have been deleted.

Excellent. Number one next week. Did anyone notice that of the top ten books, Coulter and Morris were the only two of three without a book review. Not surprising, the NYT was probably biting it's left hand to list the Coulter and Morris books at all much less give them a review.

The only type of review that the Times would want to print would factually discredit Ann's book, and you can be certain that if such a review were in any way possible, it would have been printed in the Times the first day that Ann's book hit the shelves. Their best option now is to hide and hope it goes away.

I hope that you write a letter to the marketing department at the home office of Borders telling them about your experience.
They're in business to sell books, and I'm sure that they would not be happy with their leftist store manager's tactics to keep sales of this book down. They can't do anything about it though unless customers tell them about it. :-)

Well I am happy for Coulter. Her last book, Slander, was excellent. Now if she could just give the GOP elected officials some of her courage. I know some FReepers may like the prescription drug program promoted by W but I just think it is another huge federal program that will be a financial disaster.

Where can I get a copy of that "Ms Right" pic???? I gotta have that!!!!!

The Target stores in my town have never stocked Ann's book, either. Nor have the two Meijers and the Super Wal-Mart. I don't think this is a sign of a conspiracy, but it's definitely a sign of failure on someone's part to either promote/distribute Ann's work.

You are welcome. :o)
If you like the WRITTEN version, though, wait until you HEAR Ann read part of that excerpt, from www.anncoulter.org:

She must have learned her love of
BIG (interesting) WORDS from William F. Buckley:
Liberals have a preternatural gift for striking a position on the side of treason. You could be talking about Scrabble and they would instantly leap to the anti-American position. Everyone says liberals love America, too. No they don't. Whenever the nation is under attack, from within or without, liberals side with the enemy. This is their essence. The left's obsession with the crimes of the West and their Rousseauian respect for Third World savages all flow from this subversive goal. If anyone has the gaucherie to point out the left's nearly unblemished record of rooting against America, liberals turn around and scream "McCarthyism!"
(And she
pronounces them so well!)

The Sunday Detroit News & Free Press doesn't have "Treason" listed in the top ten of the N.Y Times best sellers but Clinton's has been No.1 for the last two weeks.[No liberal bias here. (sarcasm)]

The more you read of this most recent tome by Ann Coulter, the better you will like it. And glance through the footnotes, some of her comments there are glittering little diamonds.

I am always amazed at the intellect of the Founding Fathers. The American Revolution was the one revolution in that didn't turn on itself. Amazing.Yeah, oh yeah, they were just a bunch of old white guys. Things would have been better if there had been some diversity and, and, and if they'd had some sensitivity training. (/sarcasm)

One of my Senators, John Edwards must have gotten lost. He was seen walking on a North Carolina beach for about an hour. Earth to John, you screwed up, you were talking to constituents, you sick, you lost, confused? He hasn't been worried about anything in North Carolina in a year or so.

I believe that the USA Today best sellers' list is much better than the NY Times. At least USA Today lets you know who the participating booksellers are. The NY Times have never disclosed how they come up with their list.
As of June 29, Hillary was #3, down from #2 in the prior week. Ann's book was at #9, listed for the first time.
A good measure will be the next list, probably posted in the next day or two.

I know what you are saying. Amazon.com and other sites have not posted the NYT's best seller list. They don't want to show that Ann Coulter is about to trash their darling. And.....with no media hype at all! Do go onto the NYT's web site and hit books. The best seller list is posted there! Some liberals are just a bit slow, like the reality that their boy, Bill Clinton carries great resonsiblity for causing 911! They just simply don't get it!
To: JLAGRAYFOX
Well, I don't subcribe to my local paper because it is so liberal. I will sometimes buy the Sunday edition for the TV guide. If I ever do read it, it is someone else's copy.
In 2000, they supported gore - and I live in TX!!!
