Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has been named as a co-defendant in a civil lawsuit filed by a Gary couple against Farrakhans son Nasir.
The amended filing alleges that Louis Farrakhan of Chicago should have known Nasir Farrakhans drivers license was either suspended or revoked, and that the senior Farrakhan should have taken steps to keep his vehicle from being used by his son.
Filed by Charles and Gladys Peterson, the suit stems from a May 10 vehicle collision in Porter County involving the Petersons and Nasir Farrakhan who was driving a vehicle registered to his father.
Nasir Farrakhan, 43, was arrested and later charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license, driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated endangering a person, and leaving the scene of an accident.
Gladys Peterson, 62, sustained neck and back pain, according to an Indiana State Police report. She was treated at Porter Memorial Hospital and released.
The Petersons vehicle a gold 2000 Honda driven at the time by Charles Peterson, 73 sustained an estimated $5,000 worth of damage.
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
It will be interesting to see if this is settled out of court.
Here's a Tom Clancy type thought: I wonder if the Petersons were encouraged to widen the lawsuit by those who would like to know if Farrakhan's finances are linked to terrorism.
Those guys who stand behind him when he speaks must be his Calypso Rhythm Boys
If someone had a friendly word with their attorney, one could ask many, many interesting questions which the government would like answered, whether admissable for this case or not.

Can't afford to think for myself...
blah, blah, blah,
I'll write more words when I sober up... :)
