Patriotic Music (Directv required - Vanity post)

Anyone who has Directv Satellite Service can tune into Channel 806 "Sounds of the Season" for some stirring and entertaining music appropriate for today's holiday.

They are playing a wonderful variety, from J.P.Sousa to Lee Greenwood to Bette Midler's version of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy to John Denver's Take Me Home Country Roads.

I'm enjoying it so much I figured I'd recommend it to y'all.

"I have the house rockin!"

LOL, me too. I was needing some great music to clean too. Now I am cleaning and feeling real patriotic about it.

SOUSA RULES! If I ever conducted a brass band, I'd be very strict about what was played. TV Football started to go downhill right when the marching bands started to play music from "Hair" during the 60's.

"Steve Vaus"

Is he the guy that wrote the "we'll put a boot in your ass" song?

I love that one!

"Sounds of the Season" is a Music Choice channel that DirecTV carries.

Anyone with digital cable on at least Cox, Comcast, and Adelphia (that I know of for sure) also has Music Choice and this channel.
