At the conclusion of the dedication ceremony of the Constitution Center, today, July 4th, 2003, on stage, a select few were asked to pull the red, white, and blue ribbons, pulling down ceremonial drape... What they pulled down, instead, was quite unexpected. A heavy frame surrounding a mural came crashing down right in front of the first row of these special guests at the ceremony.

Heard someone on Fox say, "Of course, there will be an investigation. There's no reason to believe it was anything but an accident, is there?"
Act of God? In this case, that might not mean it's an accident.

I know. I'm just kidding around, sorry. :-)
(However, the danger to them does sound a little exagerated to me.)

Wild speculation with no factual basis. I have read it before.

Yep, I bet the dems are working on a tactic right now, to propose that it was a secret plan, formulated by the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy to kill her to replace her with someone who will vote correctly for a change. Just one problem there
NOTHING is built in Philly without the Union boys .. and we all know they aren't part of the VRWC

If, say, Hillary C. were struck by lightning and turned into a pillar of salt, one wonders how Dan Rather would lead that story. ?

I WATCHED THIS VIDEO 20 TIMES. NO ONE "COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED". TWO PEOPLE WERE ACTUALLY HIT IN THE HEAD AND ARE FINE. NO "PELICAN BRIEF" STUFF HERE. BO-RING!!!
To: Arkinsaw
She couldn't find the center of the Constitution if it hit her in the head. I'm beginning to think this incident means the libs are right. The Constitution is a living document. In fact, it's not just living, it's mad as hell at O Connor . After the way she assaulted the Constitution the week before last, it can only be regarded as reasonable self-defense.

"Lighten up, Sandy Baby," he(Riggins) was alleged to have said. Of course, he was probably a big fan of her.

I didn't say it, O'Connor thought it, and then said it. I just said that it would be yet another event chalked up to the evil workings of the VRWC--don't yah know ;-)

Union Boys Built - you hit on a good point, Mo1 - but logic and real facts have never been the dems strong suit.

It can't be an act of God with O'Connor, because she clearly enforces the separation of Church and State.
...but....the Lord DOES work in strange ways ;-)

Yah, I was wondering why that person posted such negative comments about Bush. Sheesh, I think the Clinton years must have blinded his ability to have rational thoughts. You showed excellent restraint!

One of the many reasons conservatives are so much better company than liberal/leftist/secular humanist/feminazi/pro-homo/gungrabbing commies is that they have a great sense of humor, which the etcs do not have at all.
