Time for me to get some sleep.
After 2 fantastic days of Coast Guard Auxiliary duty and activities I'm beat.
Now I just have to get up early in the AM to go to my regular job and face "my Monday."
BUT WOOHOO on 7/15 I'll be starting my 2 week vacation.
7/25-7/27 is International Search and Rescue competition in Coos Bay.
I'll be training for that during my vacation!

God Bless All who enter the Canteen.

As our nations birthday draws to a close for another year, 

I have found memories of todays Canteen Thread.

It has been an exceptional day of Patriotic Postings. 

Also, some of our nations history, 

the terrible price paid by 

the founding fathers of this mighty nation. 

It is my hope, that those who may look 

on our pages tonight,

tomorrow and perhaps in the archives,

will conclude that we done good today.

Man, Fawnn, I can't leave you alone for 5 minutes and you have another adventure. Please thank your brother and sister-in-law for me for making sure that you were in a safe place. Now, as for that rain, I'll be sending my tanker after midnight (my time). The fireworks displays will be over, and........LET THE RAIN BEGIN!!
